I’ve always been the type of person to love without thinking twice
And I’d like to stay that way. Experiencing an abundance of love in your life is worth the price of heartbreak.
This series depicts the messy grieving and healing process that follows heartbreak. The nine surrealist photographs capture the emotions of each phase. It is a work of fiction. Names, faces, and places are products of my very colourful imagination. Any resemblance to actual events, locales, or persons is entirely coincidental.
These characters were born and staged through my own healing and self discovery. Remaining kind and vulnerable after feeling betrayed by someone dear can seem like an impossible task. One that may cause you to lose yourself along the way-
but only you can decide if the Death of a Lovergirl is permanent.
